Coupons with missing barcodes?????

i printed several coupons and alot came from this site and as i was cutting them out alot of them seem to be missing the scan barcode? What is up with that? am i missing something? They have the long barcode thing with the squiggle in the middle but seem to be missing the one with the upc under it. Anyone else have this problem? i seem to remember one of my coupons not scanning last week at the store i wonder if this was why. i just don't want to look dumb if i try to use these and they wont scan.

It's the new barcodes, Most stores are equiped to scan them now, with the occasional store that isnt. Walmart use not to be able to scan them but now they can. They're slowly getting rid of the "upc" barcode

Handscanners work better than the swiper they usually use....you may have to ask then to use the "gun" on your Qs.

ok i was really getting worried. so if a store cant scan them then you are out of luck until that store becomes equipped then i guess.?

I don't think my walmart is able to scan these yet. they still enter them manually.

At my Walmart they will scan with the hand scanner, you might suggest they try next time you are shopping.

At my Kroger it is the reverse. They will scan at the registers, but not at the self checkout where they use a hand scanner.
