Default Need some help with a scenario

So at wags this week Ragu pasta sauce is 2/$3 and you also get $5RR when you buy $15 or more.

I have some $1 off per 2 Ragu coupons, but I'm not quite sure how this scenario would work or how many of what I need.

"When you buy $15" is this before coupons or after?
Can someone take me step by step on how this would work, like how many ragus I would need to get the 5RR and what the final cost would be per sauce(would it be a decent stocking price?).

    Thanks!

You need to spend $15 before coupons to receive the $5RR.

You can buy 10 jars for $1.50 each and use 5 $1/2 coupons.

The cost would be $15 - $5 in coupons= $10.00, and get back $5RR, for a net cost of $5, or $0.50 a jar. This seems like a good price, I don't use this product personally.

One problem could be that your store will not have 10 jars of Ragu, then you would have to buy another qualifying item.

Good point, never thought about them not having it in. Guess I will have to come up with a few ideas incase they do not have 10.

Yes, I've had this problem myself. I like to buy Finish Gelpacs when they go on sale at CVS for $3. I tend to not make it to the store till later in the week and often there are not enough gelpacs to make my $15. So I might get a bogs of the regulars and/or the finish rinse agent, when I'd rather just have 5 packs of gelpacs.

I used six $1.00 mfr. coupons from the Safeway booklets (they expired yesterday) for the Ragu and two 75 cents off 2 for the Skippy peanut butter.
My subtotal was $7.50 for the 10 items.
I bought one filler item and used a $5.00 RR to pay.
Total was $2.75 and got $5.00 back in RR's.
