all you magazine coupon question

I just received my first All You magazine, it is for December 2009.

Anyway, in it are some great coupons but they say (for example) $1 off with the purchase of January All You. Since I will already be receiving the Jan. issue in the mail how does this work? Do I have to buy another copy to use these coupons or can I just show my All You when I check out or what?

I believe, and I am no expert, that the coupon is good for purchasing the January issue off the rack.

Yeah, if it weren't for that they would be pretty sweet coupons!

I like that the coupons in the All You magazine can be used at any store...not just Walmart (except the coupons for the All You magazines). Be sure to do the rebates in there as well.

They had the rebate for the Marie Callendars or Healthy Choice pasta dinners for free when doing the rebate. They also had coupons on the same page so it was a money maker as you got the whole amount back in the rebate.

They also had rebates for some Hunts products and Reddi Whip.

The rebates were attached to heavy stock paper.

This was in Decembers? i just went through the entire thing again and the only thing in mine on heavy cardstock is an ad for a walmart credit card. Was it something that could fall out?

my issue didn't have the rebates either. Is there a page number, or a rough estimate on what page it is?

I too did not see rebates in mine. Are all magazines the same or maybe they differ just like coupon ads do from area to area???
