I would check around (Nurses at your Dr. office may know) for a mothers of twins support group, or a playgroup for twins. There may be a mom with children that have outgrown their old baby things that isn't having anymore children. They may be inclined to give you a good deal considering that they've seen the price tags on double strollers! HTH & Good luck with your new babies!

Congratulations! My DSD got lots of good deals through a mothers of multiples group. Hers has sales fairly often, with lots to choose from.

My friend who is pregnant gave me this advice for when it's my turn: Register for a baby registry everywhere you can, even if you don't plan on telling people about it. Most places give you a 10% coupon (or something similar) to buy things that didn't get bought off your registry, so after you have your shower you can use that coupon to buy something that you didn't get, and the more stores you do this for the more 10% off coupons you get.

Twins! Oh yeah!

My son had to have stomach surgery @ 4 wks and could get zero air in his stomach afterward.

We found this feeding system made for mothers of twins. I just have to tell you about it.

BPA Free Baby Bottle for Twins, Triplets, Octuplets, and Parents of Multiples by Podee® International

These bottles are so neat! It basically is a pacifier with a siphoning hose attached to it, so mothers are not propping the bottle and the baby doesn't have to hold it.

My son was able to feed and play at the same time. I could hold him close and not have a bottle between us. I strapped one with water to his bed at night and he always found it.

Good luck and congratulations!

I wouldn't feel safe buying a used car seat. I've heard that even a 5 mile an hour bump can render a car seat un-safe. My friend was in a fender bender and the cops told her she'd have to get a new car seat. She checked around and everyone told her the same thing. I'd go with brand new on this item... just an FYI....
