If a store states that it will be doubling coupons up to a $1 how does this work with coupons that are .55 or higher?
Does the store usually just take off the amount of the coupon or will they just make it a dollar? I have a Family Fare Store in West Michigan that is doubling coupons until tomorrow so if anyone knows about this type of stuff let me know! Thanks!

Shaw's also doubles coupons up to .99--so if I buy something with a .75 coupon, they take off .75 for the coupon, and then they have another line item that reads "double coupon" and another .75 comes off.
If they are doubling up to .99, that should mean that any coupon that is .99 or less will double. HTH |

Ralphs (part of Kroger) and Vons (part of Safeway) double coupons up to $1.00.
If the coupon is 55 cents, they give you the extra 45 cents as the double coupon. If the coupon is 75 cents, they give the extra 25 cents as the double coupon. I thought all stores did it this way? |
