Question Store declined internet coupons

I have been using internet coupons only for a few weeks, mostly at Wal-Mart with no problem. Today I went to a different regular grocery store and the cashier told me that they no longer were accepting internet coupons. She mentioned something about them coming back invalid. Has anyone had this happen to them?

It depends on the store...some stores take IPs no problem; others won't take any because it's so easy for people to use them fraudulently.

I have one store that takes them all and another that won't take them if they're over $1 or if they're for "free" items.

Most stores here do take them except our A&P.

All depends on the store. We have one that won't take any internet coupons (even had to get manager's approval to use the one from their own website that you got from being on their mailing list ) and we have others that recently started taking them (after quite a bit of consumer pressure I'm sure) but won't take BOGO, flat out free item, or over a certain $ figure. They have signs posted at all their registers and on the doors so it's not a rude suprise at the end or anything.

I would suggest you email the store or call the manager and ask for a written copy of their coupon policy and strongly recommend they start accepting IP coupons. Consumer pressure is the main motivating factor for retail/grocery store to change their practices.

Our Shop and Save won't accept internet coupons but Giant Eagle and Kuhn's do up to a certain amount. It's a little embarrasing when the policy isn't posted.
