Default Harris Teeter Triples Event - get out your scissors ! - starting Weds 5/18

Okay peeps are you ready? We haven't had triples in over a year and it could be good. Remember 20 coupons under 99cents will triple per day with your VIC card. You can use more coupons - they just won't double or triple.
Your 75 cent coupons will be worth $2.25 up to the value of the product - i.e. no overage.

But, if you haven't yet signed up for EVIC (why haven't you signed up for EVIC???) - okay but if you haven't do it now so that you will be eligible for EVIC specials and EVIC coupons starting weds. the evic coupons will stack with manufacturer coupons and will sometimes even end up giving you overage.

i am putting together my list with coupon matches, and going through my inserts tomorrow.

omg The Harris teeter here in Burlington NC just had a triples event last month.I didn't do it because they had so so stuff on sale and even with qs would have been ridiculous in price.Im glad they are doing it again because maybe i can get some good stuff this time around.
The only thing that does suck is i realized last time i did their triples event which was in FEB they didn't triple my IP'S !!!! I was ticked because the sales paper stated in red print will triple up to 1.00!!!!! I then found out that it was for insert qs not ip's! I hate HT sometimes. : /

On the super doubles my HT will double IP's so here's hoping that they'll triple them. I just wonder what I need and how good the sales will be since HT does have really high prices.

Before I started really using coupons I went with my DH to HT with a couple of coupons I had from a recent paper or two on one of their Triples weekends (they used to only do them every once in a while for the weekend only), and I'd look at my coupon and the item (not on sale) and say "you know I think we're better off shopping at Walmart". - I shudder when I think of that now. Of course that's not the way to save - there are always some items on sale that will be a good price. There are some lists on there on the world wide web so search and you shall find. But also you can use HT Express Lane function (where you buy groceries online) to check the prices on items - pick a store somewhere in your area or close by and then starting Tuesday early evening they'll have the next sales weeks prices up. You can also use this as reference for what their regular price usually is. Then you'll know before you go what to look for at your store.

As to not doubling or tripling internet coupons that sounds like something I'd talk to the store manager about - they have a very clear coupon policy. I'll admit it's rigid but it is fair. They accept 3 like manufacturer coupons per item - 2 like internet printables. They don't accept internet coupons for any "free" or "free with purchase" items. They will double (or triple) 20 coupons per day per VIC card - you can use more coupons they just will scan at face value.

My super doubles trips on the last go round were not as good as some other weeks - but honestly i don't need to get as much as I used to - but when I can save over $50 with like 18 coupons I will not complain about this store. Their not perfect but they are awfully good to us down here in the South, and I really like shopping there.
