This isn't the most active "triples" thread ever, is it not that great? I'm going to go up to HT later today and see what I can get...

I don't think I did too bad. The coupon stuff I got was :

hunts tomatoe sauce x3 (.75)
meullers spagetti and macaroni x2 each (1.80)
muellers egg noodles x 2 (1.88)
Yakisoba (didnt know they were on sale for .99) x2 (free)
chef boyardee x 6 (2.40)
Duncan Heinz whole grain muffin mix x2 (1.48)
Jimmy Dean Breakfast dealies x 3(1.02)
Jimmy dean lites (yeah right) breakfast dealies x3 (free)
welche's juice x 3 (.75)

I got other things too, fruits, veggies, bread, etc...all total 88.87, after coupons and vic card I paid 32.30. But the coupon stuff was only like 9 bucks, I need to stop taking my son grocery shopping, he walked out of there with a bag of fritos and a package of bubble gum.

I got some Vivas also, Zataran's Chicken flavor rices, and Comet rices, etc.

Comet rice with coupon was .15
Zatarans (2 for like .45)
8 ct Pop tarts, .54
Free Betty Crocker potatoe pouches
Starkist Ready Tuna salad - .09 with cpn

That Welch's juice is pretty good, and I am hooked on the tuna salad pouches.

I was disappointed with a lot of HT sales+Q items sold out this week. I went 3 times to take advantage of triples this week and still cant find what i am looking for.

Is there a certain day and hours which are better to pick for my shopping trip? I am quite flexible.

I am new here and appreciate any advise.

What I learned was you have to go the first day and very early. At my store if you don't go the first day your out of luck cause they won't restock. It's like when its gone that's all no more until the next sale! It's so annoying!!!!!

Is your store 24 hrs? If it is, ask the manager if they get a truck every nite, when do they restock? Get there early on Wednesday morning when they open or if they are 24 hrs and start the sale at like 7 am, go early and get the deals you want in your cart and checkout when the sale begins. At my store I find the deals on Friday afternoons (they restock), Sundays, too.
