Welcome Back Rayflana! Been wondering about you.

Question (anyone can answer): Why wait until triples to buy the Edge Shaving Gel?

Do you only shop HT's during special events?

The reason I'm asking is because these things FLY off the shelves during triples but they are always available during the regular weeks. They are free either way so I get mine during the regular weeks when they are almost guaranteed to be in stock. But at the same time, I don't usually shop HTs on a normal basis b/c there is only one in my town and because....they are EXPENSIVE as heck. I only go if they have good deals (like the Sorrento cheese sticks last week for $0.34 each).

    Just curious.

I only hit Teeter for triples. Because:
    1. Twelve miles away/20 minute drive each way to another town
    2. Limits on coupons, which Publix doesn't have, and Publix has better deals normally
    3. Like you said, expensive!

well my HT is just up the street from us - 2 minutes? - it's a bit smaller than some of the newer stores - they don't empty out as quickly but then again they don't stock up often either.
    my triples included:
    tabasco : 2.50/.75Q = $0.25
    dial hand soap: 1.69/.55IP = $0.04
    pop secret: $1.00ea/0.50/2 Q = $0.50 (.25 each)
    archway cookies: 3.00/.55 Q = $1.35
dawn detgt: 1.99/.50Q = $0.49 (expires 9/30 decided to just use it)
cinnabon cereal bars: 2.79/.75Q = $0.54 (i really like these)
    ortega beans & seasoning 1.39+1.19 - .75Q/2 = $0.33 for both
    wishbone dressing - free
    campbells select soup : 1.50x2 = .40/2Q = 1.80 (.90 each)
spray n wash, stick: 1.62 free with IP Q
    rice, zatarans (2) 2.58/.75 = $0.33 or 17cents each
no yolk egg noodles - on sale 1.59 no Q, but i have a upromise ecoupon
softsoap (pear?) select on sale 3.44/.75Q = $1.19
    (3) pasta, barilla (whole grain, piccolini, & plus) all free
    meow mix select (4) B1G1 .67 - $1/4 IP = $0.33/4
    colgate total 2.50/.75Q = $0.25
    pepperidge farm bread, B1G1 = $1.64 ea
    stoneyfield smoothy - 1.50 free (IP Q expired 9/16)
oikos greek yogourt - B1G1 free (IP Q expired 9/16)
and the Green Giant vegetables were a money maker
got 5 for .99 ea, used 2x .50/2 Qs (tripled to 3.00) = 1.95/5 but got $3 catalina - yippee (these Qs printed "do not double" but they did double YMMV)

used 21 Qs - last one was for $1 and wasn't going to triple anyways.
    spent $14.46 (saved 80%)
i'll probably see if i can do the general mills $5 for 15 on friday - i wonder if you can do the green giant more than once?

My HT just started enforcing the 20Q limit. Last time for triples, I hit 3 different HT's with 20Q's in hand.

This time around, I only used 13 Q's on my outing. Alot of $.75/2 type Q's to use.

I'm bummed my HT is now enforcing the limit. It allows others to hopefully get some good deals, but in my area, if you don't hit the stores on the 1st day, the stuff won't be there

I went last night and was surprised to see the store pretty much empty, which is a good thing because I had both kids and DH with me...it turned into a free balloon/cookie circus. I used 20 coupons and spent 10.00 oop on food stuff (I got a couple other things w/o coupons that were just on sale which brought my total up to 15.30) and saved 47.19.

My store would only let me use 3 coupons on the same item. Is this for all stores? I don't shop at HT often, this is only the second time. I'm going to go back today and see if they have any of the items left that I wasn't able to get yesterday.

That's for all stores as far as I know...you can only use three coupons when buying the same item, so you couldn't buy 4 of the same item all using coupons, only 3.
