    Default Attn Indiana Marsh Shoppers!

Just a heads up, next weekend is Memorial Day Weekend, and we know what happened last year. Just a piece of advice... Get those coupons ready... JUST IN CASE, Marsh decides to do Triples again. I for one am not an organized coupon keeper, but I am staying up late tonight and all week to do some purging, clipping and filing.

    "Just in case"

I was hoping that you had some insider informaton when I read this! I've got my binder packed and ready. DD10 is a huge help with clipping. It was too hot to go out yesterday anyway so we stayed home in the afternoon and got caught up.

My business managers make their visits to Marsh corporate on Wednesdays. I will see if one of them can find out... LOL!

I am taking Friday off for the holiday so I can have a 4 day weekend. I REALLY hope they do it again!

Oh pooh!!! So we were just in the breakroom and I was looking through the Sunday paper ( getting the coupons out of course). And in walks the General Manager to our office/head Marsh guy. He overheard me and another lady discussing last year's triple coupon event, and he piped in...and I quote " Marsh lost so much money on those events, I don't think they will ever do that again, especially with Joe Kelley being gone... No way"..... then he walks away and says
    " I could be wrong"

So I feel very deflated right now... I don't know what to think. Just continuing to hope and pray, and organize... Just in case a miracle should occur.

    You believe in miracles right?

Well I certainly do believe in miracles, but I also believe in the bottom line and when it comes to business, no matter how good it is for the consumer/customer, at the end of the day they want to make a profit and if they lost their rear-end I doubt we see it again, unless it is some silly modification like a few times last year.

I went to Marsh yesterday just for the Kraft singles and Chi-chi's tortillas (on price drop for $1.50ea ued $0.50c) and talked to the cashier. She said they have no idea about triples until/when it happens. She showed me the new ad and there is a different gas deal, with less to buy and stepped amounts off rather than requiring a $100 or $200 purchase like in the past.
