    Default Bananas at Aldi

Right now Aldi's has bananas for .25 cents per pound. That is less than half of what they are at any other store in town (Walmart, Krogers, Country Mart) and also about half of what they are at the warehouse club stores (.46 per pound at Sam's Club and at Costco). Also pears are .39 cents per pound so will be going to Aldi's to get both this afternoon when I go to pick up DS16 from school.

I live in Rolla, Missouri. I picked up the Aldi's ad and noticed bananas and pears under "produce picks of the week". It says produce prices good until May 5th. My DH makes a great banana bread with the overly ripe ones so I'm always looking at price of bananas. I've noticed at our local Walmart that the price of bananas has crept up over the last month - I usually am in Walmart about once a week and saw where the price started out at .51 cents/pound, then .53/pound and when I was in there a few days ago it was .56 cents/pound.

The price on pineapples here at Aldi's are the same as yours but the rest of the fruit is a few cents cheaper (apples are $1.59 for 3-lb bag).
