Double coupon shock!!!

I just received my free Sunday ads papers for the week and to my complete shock I see that my local Glens Market is having double
coupons up to .99!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! WOW this is a dream come true for me!!! It will be interesting to see how this week
goes there as this store does not really like couponing! I was even rudely told one day how much a certsin cashier hates them.
I will walk into my Glens store with my binder in my hand ready to see what deals I can get. Oh I am like a little kid in a candy
factory with permission to eat anything I want!! I will have dreams of coupons in my hands in the store!!!

That is awesome!!!! Have fun I am so jealous, NONE of my local stores double I am thinking about contacting them though Even if they just did it once and awhile, I think it would be a huge draw!

Marsh in my area has done triple coupons a couple of time and I felt the same way. They also HATE coupons so seem really annoyed about it too. It's very weird!

Wow..great. I never realized until I came on here how many different store policies there were on doubling. Both the major supermarkets here double un to $.99 all the time..and I just figured that was common practice. Tops will do $1 doublers every 6 weeks or so...up to 4 with $1 doubler coupons in the ad. Wegmans used to honor them...I assume they still do. I guess I am lucky to live where I do.
Good luck on your trip...gee if a lot of us lived close we could all go there at once..really make them nuts.

Good point, Bear..wonder if mfgrs make them $1 just so they will not be doubled.

I think it's more like the grocery stores make it 99 cents since they know that there are many $1.00 coupons out there (and the ones under $1.00 are usually 75 cents at the most).

DO you have a Kmart in your area? They are having a Double Coupon event starting tomorrow until Saturday, November 5th.
