Does anyone know if Safeway takes a catalina coupon and a mf coupon for the same item?

If the Catalina is a cents off coupon for a particular item (for example, 50 cents off Hot Pockets) and it says Manufactures Coupon on the top (next to the expiration date), it can not be combined with another mfr. coupon.

If it is a Catalina store coupon, it can be combined with mfr. coupons.

If it is a Catalina that you earned by buying certain items (like last week's California Pizza Kitchen $1.25 coupons that came out each time you bought one) and says $-.-- off your next order, it can be combined with mfr. coupons. I used of these in one transaction along with mfr. coupons to get 3 cans of Don Francisco coffee FREE.
