Walmart and Web Coupons

I believe I read a post on here yesterday that stated Walmart would not accept online coupons. I went to Walmart last night and they would not accept coupons I had printed. The cashier stated that they had to have "the barcode" at the top right. So needless to say I was really ticked off because I could not use the coupons! I don't know why it would make any difference as long as the "bar code" was on the coupon!

I think Walmart is getting confused with their coupon policy. I went to Walmart today and used internet coupons, however when I used a Buy One Get One Free coupon for Sunbelt Fruit & Grain bars, they were hesitant to take the coupon. I told them I printed the coupon directly from Sunbelt's site through their Facebook. I was told because it didn't have VeriFi on the side that it wasn't a valid coupon. Well, these coupons are VALID. Sunbelt put them out on a PDF, and they came from their site. The CSR said she would let me use the coupon THIS time though! Next time I will bring in the entire page that the coupon is on which states that it is valid and it gives a number to call if they want to verify it.

I just read their coupon policy today and it says they do take internet coupons but they must have a barcode. I thought all internet coupons did have bar codes. I had no problem today there. Sorry your having problems at your Walmart.
