Saving at Weis 6/23/10

My DH and I went shopping after his dentist appointment this afternoon. Stopped in at Weis got some great deals.. some not so great deals.. and well.. my husband was with me so... some stuff that was no deal at all.

Totals for today were 162.56 shelf price
OOP 87.96
saved 74.60 between reward card, double coupons face value up to .99 (so a .75 coupon is worth 1.50) up to 4 like coupons.

some great deals were (broken down by using the receipt... kinda confusing)

Gogurt @ .65 per box

regular price 2.99 x5 = 14.95
- sale savings .99 x5 = -4.95
- .75/1 x4 (doubled) = -6.00
- .75/1 = -.75

total 3.25/5 or .65 each

Totino Pizza Rolls @ .37 each
regular price @ 2.00 x5 = 10.00
- sale savings 5.00 = -5.00 (this was confusing as each was .75 off but there was another 1.25 taken off for some unknown reason)
- .35/1 x4 doubled = -2.80
- .35/1 = -.35

total 1.85/5 or .37 each

Snuggle Liquid Fabric Softener (almost out.. so I had to get what was on sale)
regular price 4.69 x5 = 23.45
- sales savings = -6.00
- 1.00/1 x5 = -5.00

total 12.45/5 or 2.49 each

Sweet Baby Rays BBQ Sauce (depending on shelf price this could be a MM)
regular price 2.39 x6 = 14.34 (my flyer suggested retail at 1.89.. "savings at least")
-sales savings bogo = -7.17
- .75/1 x4 doubled = -6.00
- .75/1 = -.75

total .42/6 or .07 each

Pickles (forget the brand but not Vlasic)
regular price 3.49 x2 = 6.98
- sales savings .99x2 = -1.98
- blinkies on shelving .50/1 x2 = -1.00

total 4.00/2 or 2.00 each (my DH was so proud of finding the pickles ON SALE and a COUPON)

Wish you knew what's going on with the pizza rolls my kids would love to have a stock of these and save me $$ on them would make me happy too.Love when ppl post about weis mkt. and giant food(pa) Thanks for the heads up

Even if that 1.25 hadn't come off...

Regular price 5x 2.00 = 10.00
- sales 5x .75 = - 3.75
- .35/1 x 4 doubled = -2.80
- .35/1 = -.35
total 3.10/5 or .62 each still a lot better than 2.00 each

OKAY I GOT IT --- the 1.25 off is because the pizza bites/totino pizza are on sale 4/$5 and get a free totinos which would be the 1.25 so this is even better for my deal b/c if my math is correct and my c's are$1/3 it would go like this
10 boxes @1.00 ea =10.00
-2.50 freebies -2.50
-3 $1.00 -3.00
would be 4.50/10= .45 each !! Now that's AWESOME

Anyone know the coupon policy in regards to the bogo items? I have some c's for sweet baby ray's bbq sauce bogo this week.Does that make them all free??? Help

From an email... each store sets their own policy.

I think that's why I get double full face value for coupons up to .99 ie. .75 = 1.50 even though the banner outside says double up to 1.00 which usually means a store will double a coupon until it's value equals 1.00 ie. .75 = 1.00.
