Default Buy baking mixes/get free (nice) baking pan or sheet!!!!

Read about this deal on another blog and was happy to see my (central OH) GE had a display in their baking aisle confirming it! I was afraid to try it until my store posted a sign. . .

Buy a certain amount of Betty Crocker baking mixes/frostings (sign lists eligible items and amounts -- or you can trust what other blogs have listed), and instantly get a free nonstick baking sheet or cake pan (again, sign tells you brand, which wasn't on display but i found down the aisle with all the baking pans).

Others have done this deal and said they purchased it all together and cost of baking tool ($5.49 about) comes off instantly when cashier rings up everything! Other blogs have also listed a double-dip where some have gotten a catalina for free dozen eggs with certain items, but my store didn't have any notice up on that.

Yellow cake and some eligible brownie mixes are on sale now, and there are some newspaper and printable Qs out there. . .

This deal lasts til Dec, so great opportunity to get in on it!!!!

I have done this deal now 6 times. First time I only got 4 products and one cookie sheet. Next time I bought 8 items with the cookie sheet and cake pan and got both free in one transaction. I have gotten the free eggs catalina 4 times. When you redeem it automatically takes $2 off so some nice overage.

I also 2 times got a $1 catalina for purchasing 2 general mills products. I have no idea what triggered this.

That is awesome!!! That's great that there seems to be no limit!!!!

They have no idea what they've done letting this deal go through December. . .coupon mom's everywhere have been unleashed!

The other blog also said that the egg deal (which includes a couple of items from the cake pan deal) is through November 25th, but dont' know if that's accurate.

I am now up to 5 cake pans and 5 cookie sheets. Everyone on my Christmas list will be getting one! And those I give the cookie sheet to I plan to include one package of betty crocker cookie mix with a tub of frosting and those who get the cake pan will get one tub of frosting and one package of cake mix! That way I wont be overflowing with baked items and I am can add this nice items to make a gift pack for them! Now if I could only figure out a way to keep the eggs good long enough to gift them too...

Yeah, I have no idea what they were thinking having this promotion till the end of December but I am not complaining! As long as I have good coupons to use I will continue to get as many as I can. (though I am getting low on the coupons I need so I may need to order more!) I can say at my store it seems like I am the only one doing this promotion because the same number of pans are there the next time I go in. You should have seen my cashiers face tonight when she saw the &5.49 come off my order twice. She actually thought she did something wrong till I told her about the promotion. Then she was very interested and said she would have to get one for herself too.

The items that I know work:

Frosting (one sale 2 for $3
Cake Mix (yellow cake mix is on sale for $1.00)
    Warm Delights
    Cookie mix pouches
Brownies in the box (if you buy them in the pouch it wont work)

I know those above for sure because I have tried them all.

I have "heard" that Bisquick, Muffin mix in a box (in the pouch will not work) and Gold Medal Flour work too but I have not confirmed this.

    Coupons that work are:

Frosting- if your lucky you can find peelies for 50 cents (doubled to $1 if yours does it) or on bettycrocker.com there are 50 cent coupons off one you can print.

Cake mix-I don't have any q's for this BUT on coupons.com there are 50 cent q's when you buy one cake mix and one frosting. Also as I ment about the yellow mix is $1. The others ae $1.35

Cookies-there are 40 cent coupons from several inserts, coupons.com and bettycrocker .com

Warm Delights- there are 50 cent one from several inserts and coupons.com has 40 cent for one, 50 cents for one and I have also seen $1.00 off 2.

Brownies- there are .75/2 from several inserts and on coupons.com, betty crocker.com

My favorite scenario is buy 3 frostings and use 50cents doubled to $1.00 or 50 cents each and one yellow cake mix $1.00=$2.50

    or
4 frostings with 50cents doubled to $1 off each or $2 oop. The only problem with this one is you will not get the free egg catalina which is why I add the cake mix to the one above.

Oh, and if your store does not have a sign up they are most likely doing the promo. I went to a different store for one of them and there were NO signs anywhere but I still got it. And if you ask the store if they are doing it be prepared for them to have no clue what you are talking about. This is what happened to me in the store I ment above but I still tried it and got it.

Thanks AmyMom for some more info. .

That's a great idea to make them into gifts! I think i will as well. . .even for people that already have non-stick pans and sheets, they wear out eventually!

Can someone post the specifics of this deal. My GE doesn't have any signs and it isn't in the ad. It is located in Ohio so I assume it is running the deal but need to know exactly what to do.

I think they are different. I have a Giant Eagle. When I see people post deals for Giant they are not the same as my Giant Eagle.
