I Loved it too, thanks! I checked out the map and oddly enough, CA has had the most people submit - I'm such a curious person so of course I wonder why?!? hmmm

I sent my sons name he is sitting here in a wheel chair. He broke his leg 3 weeks ago and required surgery. He had 5 screws and a plate placed in his right leg so this made him smile today.Thank you!!!!

Cool that this coincides with the International Year of Astronomy. It's the 400th anniversary of Galileo's use of the telescope. If you're interested in some info, here's the website:
About IYA2009 | Astronomy 2009 You should be able to find astronomy-related events in your area, even more likely if you live near a university or planetarium. There are many amateur astronomy organizations out there that may be hosting outreach activities, too. Not quite coupon-related, but hopefully you will find low/no-cost astronomy-themed activities to enjoy! |

I think it's because the Jet Propulsion Lab (which includes the Mars Science Lab) is located at the California Institute of Technology in Pasadena.
