Walgreen's for sure! They have awesome rebate deals and store coupons that can be stacked. I never thought I would do my Christmas shopping in a drug store...but i did! :-)

These rebate deals...do they take a long time to come back to you? Are they like a lot of store type rebates where you have to wait 6-8 weeks?

See, I haven't ventured into the drugstore part of this awesome system yet..so I'm trying to figure out where to start, which store I wanna try, which ones are best, etc.

I feel a little overwhelmed by the drugstore part, but I'm sure it's pretty easy, just haven't tried it yet.

I'm looking at the ad right now and thinking I need to make a run up to the CVS for some Pantene and Colgate...

I don't have a CVS near me, but according to this forum, it sounds like they offer great deals!

My choice was Walgreens. Not only do they offer rebates, but they offer register rewards which help greatly, too.

To answer your question, for Walgreens you submit your rebates at the end of the month and you can get a check back within three weeks. If you load your savings onto a Walgreens gift card, you get your money back sooner plus 10% added on. Not a bad deal!

    Talking Cvs

CVS is def my fav....I love getting everything with ECB's.....I just keep rolling them over so I don't have to pay hardly any OOP.Gotta LOVE that!
God grant me the serenity to accept the things I cannot change; The courage to change the things I can, And the wisdom to know the difference.

OK, I couldn't resist...I just went to my CVS 2 miles up the road. I couldn't resist the Pantene offer. They are 5.99 minus 2.00 ECB minus my 2.00 Q. And it's the big bottle. I had 5 Qs, but I ended up getting some Head and Shoulders for my hubby without Qs. Then I also did the Gillette deal and got the free shampoo.
And I asked someone once before if for the first time, I'd have to spend a good bit OOP and then I could start rolling ECBs...so this one wasn't so cheap, but still awesome deals. Plus I bought some labels I need for my binder

    Transaction 1:

    Right Guard Deo REG 4.49 -1.50 SALE = 2.99
    2 Head and Shoulders REG 14.78 -2.80 SALE = 11.98
    3 Pantene REG 23.97 - 6.00 SALE = 17.97
    Labels 1.99
    MINUS .55 PEELIE FROM DEO, 2.00 Q FOR PANTENE X 3
    TOTAL OOP: 30.91
    earned 12.00 ECB
    also earned 5.00 of 15.00 order Q

    Transaction 2:

Gillette Venus Razor (I need new one) 5.99
Gillette Fusion Refill (for the razor I got elsewhere for less than $3) 13.99
    Gillette Shampoo 5.99
MINUS 12.00 ECB from Transaction 1
Minus 5.99 FREE shampoo Q with purchase of razor refill
    TOTAL OOP: 8.99
    earned 5.00 ECB and another 5.00 of 15.00 Q

I'm still trying to learn this completly, but couldn't she have used the $5 off $15 before ecb's and q's to make her oop 3.99? Or did you do this and didn't list it?

Not saying you did anything wrong, but I'm learning all of this, off of reading what others have done with their purchases!

Yes, I suppose I could have...but that was also my first time trying the CVS thing and didn't have it planned. It was spur of the moment...But I'm a newbie too and slowly getting better.

It's great you recognized that, thanks!!! (You must be doing well as a newbie )

Sometimes they won't let you use the $5/$15 first. Everytime I try, it makes the register go haywire and they have to close it out, go to another register ring me over use all my Qs then the $5/$15 and it works then. Would be nice the other way.
