Crashed Walgreens

Plenty of I Cool and Psoriasan on the shelves this morning. i wanted to recycle a bunch of last weeks RRs. I did one transaction at the beauty counter....no prob, tried a 2nd and the register shut down "unexpected error". Cashier had 1 week on the job and thought she might have done something wrong so we move to register 2...one transaction then lockdown. AM said she was just back from maternity leave and unfamiliar with new registers and could not get either register back up. The one remaining, experienced cashier tried on the only working register in the place...same thing, one trans. and it died. She said the .99 Pepsi next were the problem and had to be entered manually but the system still crashed on the 2nd transaction. When I gave up and left there were still NO working registers in the place.

The same thing happened to me this morning. It was a problem with the RRs. I crashed 3 registers also until my cashier put in my RRs manually as manu coupons. I had used 2 $9 RRs from NasalEase and 1 $1 RR from Goody so it was not just the Pepsi RR.

Yikes, I am glad I stayed home today.

Maybe it was just the registers themselves or the system temporarily. I heard that the register at my usual Walgreens doesn't always work, either.
