Sometimes you just have those times when you look around and realize that you don't need anything for awhile.....So just go buy you some papers and clip your coupons and consider this a vacation and your waiting for something to catch your eye and you'll be back on the wagon soon.

I took my daughter (26) for her first big coupon shop Friday night and we saved 90, spent 40. She got the bug and wanted me to go again on Sunday. I said "no, nothing is at bottom dollar that we need or should stock up on". She looked so disappointed. This week, I will let her analyze the sales and cabinets and decide if any shopping should be done.

i think i was just overwhelmed in general lol but i'm definately buying my papers this weekend and starting up again. i just need some motivation!

I took my SIL to Publix during this weeks ad. She has been asking me about it. I figure the best way to learn it to GO and do. So we went. I had already pulled my Q's for the items that I would be purchasing. I did also take my "trusty" binder with me, so I could be on the look out for the deals.

I did find pickles on sale...BOGO $2.39 I had Q's for .50 making them $.39 for 2

WOW, did that amaze her...well heck, it AMAZED me!! I am still a newbie at this!!

My total bill was $176 and some change

OOP was $63 and some change

At the end of the day I sent her home with a load of groceries and kept a load myself. She asked to help pay, but I told her it was her "gift" from her 1st day of COO-poning!!

The only problem I seem to have right now is.....ROOM!! I have run out of room for my "stock" items. I seriously could not buy groceries, other than milk and bread, for a month or more and we would still be ok.

I hear you, Cola. I've been so darn busy planning holiday events for my office and our family, I haven't done much, aside from Publix.

I've been printing out ya'lls game plans while researching the best recipes for my sweet potatoes, cheesecake and green bean casserole for Thursday!

Do ya ever get tired of our uncanny ability to multi-task and want to run away and join the circus?
