    Default Rite Aid or CVS?

Just wondering if there is a preference or do they both have great deals?

I live in a bit of a rural town. We only have 2 grocery stores (Albertsons & Stater Bros) and 2 Drugstores (CVS & Rite Aide...oh and I have a Big K mart). I think a Walgreens is slated to come in but not for a year or so. So I don't have a lot to choose from, but was just wondering if ya'll had a clear preference between these 2 drug stores. Thanks

I use both!! CVS gives you ECB right back at the register so you can use them as soon as you spend the money. The key is to always use your ECB on things that will generate more ECB so that you continue to resue the same money over and over.
Rite Aid does tend to have some great deals that are worth waiting on your money back for.

You just have to check the ads to decide each week who has the best deal.

I have to say, I prefer CVS. Seems like the Rite Aids around here don't have the amount of merchandise that CVS does. Sometimes I do get good deals at Rite Aid but for the most part I shop at CVS and Wags.

CVS is my favorite. I only do a few things at RiteAid.

Most of the time with Rite Aid, you have to shell out your money up front then wait for it to come back.

The same is true with CVS until you start rolling those ECBs and building up your stash. Once you get a few "dollars" saved up you can buy from CVS with virtually no money OOP.
