Which one do you like better and why?
i don't have cvs here, but i like walgreens because there is no limit on the number of deals i can get there, unlike cvs, where you have to have extra cards if you want to get around the system (from what i understand here).

FYI....Some Walgreens have been known to impose a limit of one on some of their deals. (Each store manager reserves the right to implement this.)
Also.....anyone wishing to obtain multiple CVS cards need to be prepared, as various managers are known to strictly enforce the one card per household rule once the shopper gets to checkout.
IMO.....it is not ethical to bend the rules or to get around the system.
You will find at Coupon Mom, that we have an excellent reputation for respecting and following the policies set forth by the stores we shop at.![]()

I prefer CVS. The seem to not only have better deals but all the employees there are super nice and coupon friendly. When I was there yesterday I did two transaction and the cashier knew exactly what I wanted to do; roll the $8 ECB from the 1st into the 2nd. Although there is usually a 1-2 limit on the ECB deals, that is still plenty for a family. I have a family of 5 and we have more than enough.
LOVE CVS. Walgreens, not so much. Too many rules and restrictions on the RRs and coupons. Also, my WAGS is old and hard to find things. (Now I'm being picky)

For me, it just depends on the week. I haven't shopped at CVS for much lately. They just haven't had anything I was crazy about getting. It will probably pick back up for me soon, though.
I have always had a love/hate relationship with Wags. Sometimes things run great, and the next visit will be horrible. However, in my small town, I have made a friend with one of the cashiers. She helps me out whenever she's in there, and we're always swapping deals.

i don't think it's ethical either. sorry if that's the impression you got from my post. i can see how it sounds now, which is not what i meant at all. so to anyone who read my post & now thinks i'm unethical, I'M NOT!!!
about the cvs thing, though, apparently some managers don't check very strictly at all, since every so often someone posts on here about some shelf-clearer with multiple cards![]()
Both the Walgreens and the CVS near my house are very helpful and always understand that I'm trying to roll the deals to get the most for my money when I do separate transactions to use RRs/ECBs.
The employees at Walgreens have approached me several times and offered to give me coupons, and helped me search for the best deal on different products.
I've usually only been to CVS late at night when they don't have many people working, so I have never ran into an employee there who went out of their way to help me in the store. Understandable when there's only 2 employees there 30 minutes before closing. I don't have much experience with CVS but the few times I have gone there to get something they had on sale, they were out of stock on that item. Disappointing, but it's part of shopping, you gotta get it before it's gone.
Personally I love Rite Aid, but that's in part because I also get a 20% employee discount and don't have to drive out of my way... I can just shop after work!![]()
Saving money is my anti-drug.
I have to save wag all the way.
there are no cvs around where we are.
also i get a discount at the wag for working there.
