Default My AWESOME CVS shopping spree!!

I got such a deal at CVS today, I just had to share it!

I got $100.47 worth of stuff for only $11.33, plus I still have $7 in extra care bucks left over, so actually it was only about $4 if you look at it that way!

I started off with a $20 ECB from last week when I bought the new oral B pulsonic toothbrush. It was on sale from $79 down to $59 plus had the $20 ECB and the newspaper had a $15 mail in rebate.

SO I used the $20 ecb to start todays purchases. I bought the following:

5 Gum/Butler toothbrush 2 packs, $3.99 each with $3.99 ecb, limit 5
1 powerade 32 oz, $1.69 with $1.69 ecb
out of pocket-$1.75

I recieved $19.95 and $1.69 in ecb coupons

I then used the $19.95 to buy the $25 in baby products to receive $10 ecb.
I got huggies on sale for $9.99, used a $1 coupon
desitin on sale for $2.99, used a $1 coupon
5 johnsons baby wash/shampoo, each on sale for $2.99, had $5 in coupons
I paid out of pocket $1.68

I then bought the 2 childrens tylenols, on sale for $6 each, buy 2 get $5 ecb. I had two $1 coupons and used the $10 ecb from the baby stuff.
Out of pocket I paid $.14 , yes 14 cents!!!

Then I had to go to another cvs because they were out of some things.

There I bought 3 skinvitals face masks for $2.99 each and got $6 ecb back. I used the $1.69 ecb and the $5 ecb, paid out of pocket 2.44

I bought 2 more face masks for $2.99 each and got $4 ecb back and bought a $5.49 item so I could use the $6 ecb. Then returned the $5.49 item. So that transaction was free.

Then I bought two colgate toothbrushes on sale for $2.99 each and got back $4 ecb and vitamin d tablets on sale for $2.99 and got back $2.99 ecb.

What a bargain, all that for the price of one pack of newborn huggies diapers!

The johnsons baby website has tons of prinatable coupons you can use with the baby sale if anyone is interested. And cvs still has the oral b toothbrush on sale with the $20 ecb. The mail in rebate was in last sundays paper.

SO now I have $7 to start my shopping with next week! Pretty good for a beginner!!!! And my hubby didn't think I could do it!

What a great deal! Are you exhausted from all those transactions? LOl. I can't wait to get more than 1 CVS since my cashier's always refer to me as the coupon lady in a somewhat sarcastic tone. I went last night (it had been 4-5 days) since my last visit to this store. The cashier says oh I see we are dupllicating the same transaction you just did the other day! Huh? She says didn't you just use these same coupons with these same items the other day? No, I told her. I haven't been here in 4-5 days. Oh she says but in a way like she didn't believe me. I finally get good treatment at Wags and now I have to deal with CVS's crap. One lady even laughed when my ECB"S printed out and says "Oh more coupons since you believe in them" What? I should have said excuse me they really arn't coupons it's cash but as a supervisor you should know this lady. I usually always speak up and say something but I went home so pissed and told Dh and he couldn't believe I didn't say anything. I just wasn't in the mood. Sometimes I feel like I'm the only one that turns these jerks in for poor customer service. I already sent an email to corporate about the service and items never being in stock. They all know me so I'm just praying I will one day have another store to choose from and hope they offer better service. I don't know what it is but my CVS has some very strange people working there not just rude but weird.

Wow, sorry you have such rude people to deal with. Believe it or not, I have 3 cvs stores within 5 miles of my house.... IF ONLY I had known about all the great deals.... makes me sad! Maybe your store will be hiring new (smiling) faces for the holidays!

Awesome run Sherry. I dig saving. Came home with quite a load myself.

I got:

4 packs of Huggies diapers
2 Huggies wipes
1 Johnsons body wash
1 Johnsons shampoo
3 CVS hand soap
1 Box CVS brand sandwich bags
4 Brachs candy
2 Pumpkin Pails
2 Powerade
3 Excedrin geltabs
1 Just for Men
5 Sure deodorant
2 Pert Plus shampoo
2 Boxes of Kelloggs cereal
2 Listerine mouthwash
2 Always Infinity pads
1 Matchbox car set
1 Welch's grape juice
1 Arm & Hammer Essentials Cleaning Kit
1 Bottle of Windex
1 Bottle of Fanstatik
1 Box CVS brand kitchen bags

Total paid $20 - Messed up a little on the $25/10 deal of it would have been lower but I am soooo happy all the same and I have enough deodorant to last me 2 years.
