Attention: KC area WAGs shoppers

I was in the new Walgreens at 75th and Quivira this morning. I noticed an ad for next week they had on the counter (which had been removed by the time I came back to check out...shucks). But I'd like to report that I saw an overwrap that had a $3 off $10 Q on the outside and a $25 gc offer on NEW or transferred prescription. YIPPEEE I'll be back tomorrow.

The overwrap had something about celebrating the new store at 75th/Quivira so I don't know if all the metro's ads will have them (like in the paper) or if you have to go to that store. I have to say this has been a very good store so far. My only complaint is that they don't have a good clearance section for fillers.

And if I have the attention of any Kansas City people, I saw that Price Chopper is having a one day Columbus Day sale tomorrow. VERY low prices on a few items. I recall:

.99 1/2 gal OJ
.99 Cheez-its (anyone still have the .75 IP for whole grain? I've seen $2/2 peelies, too)
.xx Kellogs fruit snacks...if you don't have enough bug/dino fruit snacks

There's some low limits and the ad says "limited to stock on hand", but certainly some deals to be had. I'll be making my list tonight. They have the ad on their web site.
