    Default Mr. Clean Magic Erasers

Mr. Clean Magic Erasers are on sale for 2/$5 this week. I had a BOGO coupon and 75 cent coupon making them $1.75 for two boxes(four erasers).

And if you have 2 coupons, and buy 4 boxes, you get $2 Register Rewards, making them $0.75 each.

I bought 8 of these yesterday in two different transactions. I goofed when I paid for my second transaction with my first transaction RR. I hate when I do that. I had numerous RR's from the prior week as well as the current week and I just ended up confused. In the end it cost me $8.00 for the 8 boxes ($1.00/box instead of the .75 cent it should have been.)

I realized after I got home that I also did not get the $4.50 RR for one of the Colgate toothpastes I bought. I paid for it with a $5.00RR that I got last week from the Nivea Body Wash. Is that a Colgate company? I can't figure out why I didn't get it.

I don't think Nivea is Colgate-Palmolive. The RR didn't say Colgate-Palmolive like the toothbrush ones did a few weeks ago.

But on the subject of the erasers...what are they good for? Do they work? Am I missing the boat? Should I have some?

Yes, this is a Wal-Green's deal. I thought I posted it under theWal-Greens forum. Strange.

I didn't realize that about the register rewards. Wish I had more coupons. I LOVE these things!

I have kids, so the walls in my house get a black ring around them at kid-height...like a ring around a bathtub. The magic erasers take this off with ease, as well as things like crayons and markers on the walls. My husband said he used one to clean the wheels of his truck and it was the best product he ever used for that. I also used them to clean soap scum in the shower and the grout lines of my ceramic tile. I love them.

I can honestly say that these little things can remove spots/smears etc. that most other cleaners only "fade."

Word of caution - too much use will result in "bare" patches on your painted walls. But it takes alot of use to get to that point.

OK, I'm convinced. I can't live without them. I'll have to dig up my Qs and run to WAGS immediately! I do have DD(3.5), but she only wrote on the walls once. And it happened to be about a week before a big hallway painting project, so we just took a picture (she was 1.5 y/o) and withing a week the evidence was gone. But the shower story has me convinced to try the product.
