Talking Longs SCORE (I know - who shops at Longs, right?)

    Hellllo-

I'm on a shopping high!!! Although it's not the BEST deal I've ever had or a freebie, I was pretty happy about it.

I had some time to kill today so I stopped into a Longs which I NEVER do - they never seem to have good deals. In the perfume section locked up with the "nicer" bottles of perfume I found one lonely sale tag.... on a bottle of Gucci "Envy", my favorite! It was $19.99 regularly and on sale for 50% off - only $9.99!!! I bought all four bottles they had and ran to another store to pick up another three. I'll keep some for myself and then give the rest away as birthday gifts to my girlfriends, since one of those always seems to pop up when I'm short on cash LOL

    I also grabbed:
-Olay Hydrate and Cleanse - Cleanser Serum: Regular price $7.49 - 50% Off and I used one $1 Olay facial cleanser Q = $2.75 total
-Rimmel "Spark it up" (a pretty metallic green) eyeliner: Regular price $4.99 - 50% Off and I used one $1 Rimmel Q = $1.50 total
-Sally Hansen Natural Lip Butter Shimmer: Regular price $5.99 - 50% Off and I used one $2 tearpad coupon I found in Walgreen's = $1.00 total

Oh, by the way this was in Ventura California.

    Happy shopping!

Great shopping. You are going to so love yourself for having the b-day gifts on hand when you need them. Now all you need to do is find some gift bags, cards, etc, at a bargain basement price. No one ever has to know but you and me.

The 99 Cents Only Stores in Los Angeles have the BEST gift bags for only 59, 79 or 99 cents. They have small and large for all ocasions as well as wine bottle gifts bags.
I have seen these at the Dollar stores as well.

Long's has already started transitioning to becoming CVS/pharmacy. They are now stocking CVS products (bottled water, paper towels, etc) and feature CVS products in the ad starting last week. I think someone said that for one month CVS will not give back ECB's (but will still accept them) during the changing of the stores from Long's to CVS.
