I never shop at Longs, they seem to rarely have deals, and their rebate program is weak, nothing ever good .
There is a Longs about 1/4 mile from us, and I still travel 15 miles to bigger city (modesto) to shop cvs walmart, riteaid, target & walgreens.
I still look at longs ad every week along with all the other ads, but haven't been tempted by anything yet.. I think last time I was in longs was about 5-6 years ago.
Have read recently that some will be turning into CVS or just closing, anyone else read anything like that?

I haven't been into a Longs Drugs for quite a few years myself, just wanted to make sure I wasn't sleeping at the wheel.

Wow...I dont go to Longs to often either and I would hate to see it go, but I would love to get a CVS. It looks like they have great deals there. *crossing fingers* we will get a CVS somewhere soon

**update: when I checked store locator for the closest CVS in my area it directed me to a LONGS only about a mile away. The site stated that it is a Longs store being operated by CVS/Pharmacy. Hmm? I did not know that. Well...still wishing for a CVS ONLY store

yeah, the CVS site lists the longs around the corner from me in Ripon as a CVS now, but I called the store, and they won't have the switchover complete for a while. It will be so nice to have one so close! The nearest one is only 15 minutes away, but it is the ONLY one in this area, I think the closest one from Modesto is Atwater . and that is just way too far to travel, I think it is about 45 min away?
So, where are the rest of you norcal people from, ?

Im from Stockton and I never even heard of CVS until recently. Im not good with change , but if its for the better I'll get over it . I hear a lot of deals for CVS so...Im kinda excited...LOL..

I absolutely LOVE CVS
I would rather go there than Walgreens or Target, they have some of the best deals I have found, and the ECBs are so much easier than submitting rebates every month, and the limit is almost always more than 1, gotta love that

I'm in Pittsburg, about 45 minutes from San Francisco. I have a Longs store about 5 minutes away and cannot wait for them to convert to CVS!!!!
