I'm sure many of you have had a similar experience that just happened to me. I was just standing in line in Wal-Mart. The woman in front of me was being rung up for her huge shop. I could not bare to watch someone buy that much, and not have a coupon.

I asked her if she would like some coupons to help her out. She said yes, and I whip out my binder and went straight to 'frozen'. She exclaimed "Wow!! Look at you, prepared!!" (LOL!!) She really was thankful for that. After coupons, her total still came to $231!!

Anyhow, it had occurred to me at the time that this would be an additional way to practice charity.
That was so nice of you!
I must say, I spend over $250 a WEEK on groceries for my small family of 4 (2 small adults and 2 small kids!!!)
It is INSANE how much we spend!
BUT
I just started to figure out the value of coupons. This week I saved $100 using coupons and websites like this one!

Give a man a fish and you feed him for a day. Teach a man to fish and you feed him for a lifetime. - Chinese Proverb

I have gotten so excited about coupons, freebies and rebates that some may begin to think that I'm a broken record. All of my co-workers hear when specials are out there, they know of this website, etc. Earlier today I was wondering who else I could pass information on to. Some have come back telling me of $50 savings or free items.

I have one co-worker who is strapped financially. We carpool and she won't accept funds and so I've started passing freebies on to her. If I have overstock and she can use, her pride will allow her to accept if she feels it hasn't cost me anything.
