Default New use for Tide singles

I have a new use for the single Tide packs that many of us get at Target for free.
As many of you know, my little 15 month old neice is battling brain cancer. Yesterday, my SIL posted on the caringbridge blog that the laundry room at Children's Mercy in KC has washers/dryers but no detergent. Many parents (including my brother and SIL) use these facilities many times a day due to the constant vomiting from their babies and children receiving chemo. I think one day, they both had to change their clothes 3 times. I'm sure many of you have the single packs and if you don't use them or they are a hassle, consider donating them to your nearest hospital's laundry room!
I know all mine are heading to KC tomorrow!
    Thanks!

That's a great idea. DH prefers tide but i was able to get several bottles so I'm stocked up and have a few more q's. I never would have thought of donating there. Thanks for the tip.

Thank you for posting this. I would have never thought of this. Pittsburgh recently opened a new Childrens Hospital and I'll be calling them to find out about donations needed.

That is a great idea! BTW - Children's Mercy is a great hospital...I have a very good friend in Wichita whose DD has needed multiple heart surgeries, and they have been so great with the whole family. One of the best children's hospitals in the country, IMHO!!!
