    Default doing good on Saturdays

this morning I watched as my husband drove off with the back of the mini van full of donations for the food pantry we run at the church on Saturdays

I have a neighbor who was donating every now and then who is now donating regularly with all her freebies. Then this week another neighbor came up alongside us to help.... neither of these neighbors go to our church, in fact we are all of different faiths, but the unity is the fact that these goods are going to people in our rural community....

I have to take a minute to brag on my husband. He stepped off a plane at 11 pm last night (travels every single week) and was all excited when he saw all the goods to go this am. He used to be supportive of my "causes" but he never got involved because he didn't have time and besides "very few people actually help out". Since he started delivering the goods and then took my place at the pantry he is a believer in being involved.

So another Thank You to Stephanie for starting and running this site. Our little community in Chuluota, FL is benefiting from something someone in Atlanta started. Its such an amazing world!

You should be proud of yourself and others. I agree, I too find it easy to donate a little here and there. I wish it was more, but I figure something is better than nothing.

Can you imagine if everyone actually paid it forward? Those in need would be better off.
