Default Donations made possible by Couponmom

Today I went to donate some items to our local pantry and mission. I have only been on here since May and am still surprised myself at the deals that are possible. I made my first good multi deal about the same time I found $20 on the ground. After asking those around if the money was their's and having no other way to discern the owner I decided to take the money and add $20 of my own and see what I could purchase with the $40. I thanked the person who put the Infinity deal up on the forum and told them that since I did not need those they would make a good addition to my donation. I told momoftwins+2 that I would return to let you all know what I was able to get with the money.

Today I am back to let you know exactly what happened and to thank you for making it possible. Well, after all the deals you all so nicely laid out for me, I was able to take the $40 (taxes paid included) and purchase over $300 worth of items.

I took the items to the pantry today and told them how Couponmom had made it possible. Ironically, there had just been an article about Stephanie and Couponmom in our local paper in the last few weeks. One of the ladies asked me if that was the same site I was speaking about. I told her "YES!". She then asked me if I would mind giving her my name to pass on to the director. She wanted to know if I might "teach" a class on the site and how to use it to some of the ladies who use the pantry.

I do not know if they will call, but if they do I hope that maybe someone else on here has done something like that. I got excited at the idea of being able to share this with others. Hopefully if they learn it they will be able to stretch their dollars farther and have the needs of their families met. I began to wonder if there might be a way to have a Power Point presentation or if any of you have taught a group and would have any ideas or resources. I also want to know it there is any problem with using this site, as far as copyrights and such go. I would not want to do anything that is not allowed. If any of you have any suggestions please let me know.

I am attaching pictures of the donations. The list would be too long to type. I took the school supplies and the larger donation to the pantry and the smaller one to the mission. I plan on making my next donations to the domestic violence shelter and our long term shelter for women and children.

Thanks to Stephanie, Couponmom, and all you on the forum for helping me have the pleasure of making this donation today. God bless you all.

Doesn't it feel good? I know I felt fantastic the first time I dropped off a cartload of groceries at our local food pantry. I plan on doing it regularly now. A year ago, I would have been standing in line. Thanks to using q's and couponmom and all the people here, I don't have to! I'm hoping to teach others as well.
