Lion's Club gives donated glasses.....
I recently needed to get new glasses, and it was very important to me to donate my old pair to someone in need. The Lion's club accepts donated glasses. They have a machine that reads the prescription, and when someone is in need, they get a pair.

My Kroger & CVS both have bins at the pharmacy counter to leave the glasses donation.

You can also drop glasses off at Wal-Mart, and the Lion's club gives the glasses out for free.
