How kind of you! Are you a coupon collector, I hope!?! I know I have seen Q's out there for Iams ($5Q), ziplock, all kinds of detergent and hand wash. I picked up some Softsoap hand wash pumps at Albertsons not too long ago for $1 minus Qs. WAGS has some dishsoap (I think Dawn) this week that could be combined with Qs. If they need wet food for cats, fancy feast is BOGO at Rite Aid this week. I have been able to donate food and dishwash detergent to our animal shelter before. I have just watched for sales and Qs at mainly RA and WAGS and safeway.

Good luck!!

Hi,

That's great! I donate a lot of stuff to my local food pantry but I hadn't thought about places like that. As for your post, do you think the vet clinic is set on the brands listed, or would they take substitutes?

If you're interested and the deals are the same in your area, my ShopRite (I'm in CT) has a great deal on lysol cleaning products. If you buy 5 items, you get a $5 check-out coupon. If you do this in conjunction with the $11 worth of coupons you can get from LYSOL | Disinfect To Protect, then you would end-up making a profit of 5 cents total for 5 bottles of Lysol all-purpose spray (or any other of the Lysol items they have that are on sale for 1.99 ea).

I have made several different trips and you get this rebate as often as you want this week as long as you do separate orders each time. You cannot use the $5 check-out coupon towards your next purchase, though.

The coupons on the Lysol site for the all-purpose spray are .50 cents each and ShopRite doubles them so you end-up with $1 off each bottle. There is a limit of 4 per variety, for each order (there are 3 varieties available). To get more than 2 coupons of each product, you would need to register at Lysol with 2 different names (another member of your household?) and then you'll be able to print them twice again.

As long as your 5 items are from the ones that are priced at $1.99, you'll end-up with the 5 cent profit....otherwise the amount you pay depends on the combinations you make (2 of the eligible products are priced higher at $2.99 & $2.89) - still, even taking one of each product (3 at 1.99 and the other two higher priced ones) you'd come out to about 33 cents a product.

They also have the same sort of deal on Clorox products and there were clorox clean-up coupons available a while ago at coupons.com but I don't see them there anymore - if you have them, that would be great. The bleach is on sale for $1.69 a bottle and the limit is 4 per variety and there are many varieties so it is easy to total 6 (you have to buy 6 Clorox products to get a $5 check-out coupon). The final price for the 6 bottles of bleach would still be great at $5.14 total, or .86 cents per bottle.

Good luck and I hope you're able to get the same deals....you wouldn't even believe how many times I've been back at the store this week!

Kathy

Sorry, I just noticed the link looks incorrect (I wasn't trying to insert a link!). Anyway, the site I was referring to with the $11 in coupons is lysol.com...
