You were very lucky then. They have always told me that you could not use other people's EB on any acount than which they came from. I think it must be something that depends on the store you go to.
Honestly I was shocked as well. I was prepared for her to say no, it was one of those, "all she can do is just say no" moments and I was very suprised when she said yes. I'm sure they wouldn't do it all the time, but I'm also thankful that she did let me.
There are some guardian angel CVS cashiers lol.. Mine went above and beyond and let me use all of my ECBs to purchase my husband's card free stuff. I was SHOCKED! She definitely made my day easier though! I am going to find out her name and email HQ about her excellent cust svc. Though I will just say she went above and beyond
