11:45 Cvs..Cops.. and a fight
 So around 8am i met my friend at cvs and i got there a few mins before her, there was only like 1 or 2 other people in the store. I was just looking at the ads posting and i went and asked a cashier where something was and i heard her and another empolyee talking about last night so of course i got noisey and said something. One of the employees told me at 11:00 pm last night there was problery around 45 to 50 people in the store. Everything was going ok, and about 11:45 people started getting in line and the employee said everyone was just chatting away. She walked away to help someone and then started hearing a bunch of noise up front she goes up front and there was 2 women in a fist fight over who got into line first... not over an item, but over the line. The employee told me she had to make one of those candy wreaths you see in the ad it took her 2 hours to do it... and the ladies in the fist fight broke it. I was so shocked

Goodness and I thought my CVS was bad last night!
I was just suprised at how many people were in there just for the free deals...at least 3 other couples...and it was super competative! My bf went to go look for the gatorade and as soon as he walked by the refrigerated section a guy ran up and put his cart in front of the door so he couldn't get any...but crazy thing was that there were none left anyways! I'm glad my shopping there is over and done with...I wouldn't be suprised to hear of a lot more fight stories. I was shocked when I got there at 11:45 and grabbed the last two Bic's and Quattro trimmers.

Is this because the CVS stores that are open 24 hours are in "not so nice areas". I know the one that is 20 minute drive for me that is open 24 hours is not in a "great" area and they seem to get the crazies in there.

I was sooo glad this morning the CVS where I live was very mellow. It opened at 7 am. I drove up at 7 am and was the first one in the store. Where I used to live, I would've been trampled lol!!! I hope that store calms down. Stuff is just not worth treating others badly!

Oh wow, I guess I am lucky my CVS was so quiet and only one other coupon shopper there and I got everything on my list for 0 OOP!! And ended up with $5 more ECBS than I started with!

Folks get nuts on Black Friday/big sale days. I posted this on another thread earlier. Friend was shopping Miejers day after sale when 2 guys got in a fist fight (literally) over a DVD player. Cops were called & both were arrested. Bail had to cost a lot more than the DVD player!
Sadly, don't think it matters what part of town you're in. Stuff like that happens right smack dab in the middle of the mall. Holiday's bring out the best & worst in folks. (Myself included). After shopping for hours & hours on end, I get a little grumpy. Not to the point of losing it, just easily frustrated. We're lucky, we know the secret of q's & have been saving $$. Others aren't as thrifty & are fretting over holiday expenses. Thank you CouponMom for teaching us!!
