I ran into two other people shopping for the deals, but I was just glad there wasn't a crazy crowd!! I stopped shopping the day after thanksgiving/thanksgiving years ago b/c of the people and the craziness. I was able to find all of my stuff and one of the nice ladies shopping even gave me an extra $1 Q!!!! Tis the Season

I was also the only one in the store at 8:00 am this morning. I was just about the only one on the road too...not many other cars. Anyway, I got almost everything free in the flyer. The limits are almost never right in the ad so after I checked out I scanned my receipt and got a few more things. After 5 transactions, I paid $5.74 oop. I saved $132.

I took everything to my MIL's house where everyone was congregating for Thanksgiving dinner. As the turkey was frying, I slapped my bags on to the picnic table and showed everyone what I got and for how much. Several are not hurtin' for cash and didn't really care but some ARE hurtin' and couldn't believe what I had done. Maybe we will get some new converts....

I had made up my mind that i would NOT go to CVS today. I flew from Jersey to Atlanta to see my parents & siblings. Well, my mother mentioned my favorite thing... TOOTHPASTE!!

My response... give my $3 and I'll get you some toothpaste. She laughed so hard at me and gave me the money. (I tell her about the great deals I get and she thinks it's greta, but hilarious that I have this new found love of coupons)

So, I returned with 3 Colgates and 2 Aussie shampoos. My parents and 17-year-old sister could not stop laughing at how excited I was!!

I haven't seen a lack of deals as much - as a lack of good mfg. coupons! This month though, I have made out better at Wags, then Cvs - but it really depends. I find for holiday stuff, CVS does a much better job, but WAGS is good for a lot of other stuff...
