How do I make returns when EBCs are involved?

Help, I overdid it!

Okay, I think I went a little crazy with the Thanksgiving Day deals. I now have about $60 in EBCs to use and it is making me anxious. I am thinking about returning the 2 bic razors, and 2 tubes of lip gloss as that would cut my EBCs in half. Does anyone have experience with this?

I'm not sure what the policy is on items you bought that generated ECBs but yesterday I returned something I paid for with ECBs and the cashier didn't know what to do. The manager wasn't there so she was reluctant at first but I asked if she could give me a moneycard instead of cash and she accepted.

Well when I needed to return something which had ECB's, the cashier just gave me a store gift card to CVS - or a store credit as they like to call it. She gave it to me for the price of the item, plus the ECB's I had got on the purchase.

I am not sure why you want to return - is it just because you have a lot of ECB? Anyway - yesterday my cashier told me that once you have been issued the ECB they are yours. She said there is no way to cancel them. I was floored by this. She said that they give a store credit for the money you spent but do not take back the ECB. She did say that they have customers that take back items all the time because they already have the ECB and make money this way - I told her that is Fraud. She agreed but said they do not have a way to track the ECB or to delete them so they can't be used.

When I had an item to return that came with ECB I had the ECB with me and ripped them up since I felt funny about using them when I had returned the item. You may want to make sure that when you return you have your receipt so they have all the information in front of them.
