Default CVS Midnight Trip (yes I did it again!)

Okay, I did my CVS shop at midnight tonight (but this time I brought my mom just in case! - For those who don't know, there was a small incident this past weekend - look for Why I think I will refrain from Midnight trips to CVS... '

I just did my trip - I was able to do 3 transactions with no problem. Here were mine:

#1
Bic Soliel 5.99 - $3.00 MFQ
J&J 5.99 - $1.00 IPQ
Shick Quattro $7.99 - $2.00IPQ
Oral B Floss $3.99 - $1.00 MFQ
Total before Q's $23.96
ECB Spent $16.00
OOP .66

#2
2 Colgate $5.98 - $1.00 (Thought I had two and couldn't find second )
2 Loreal Gloss $6.99 - $2.00 MFQ (These were for 'lip colour' and they accepted them)
1 Sally Hansen $3.79
1 Oral B Floss $3.99 - $1.00 MFQ
1 Covergirl Powder $5.99
1 Covergirl Liquid $7.99 - $1.00 MFQ
Total Before Q's $41.72
EBC Spent $26.68
OOP 11.18 (This should have been less, but in my excitement I mixed some of my items that were to be on #3 - oh well...my bad!)

#3
Clairol $8.49 - $2.00 MFQ
Playtex $3.99
Rival Crockpot $19.99
Pepsi BOGO $1.79
Total before Q's $34.26
ECB's used $29.96
OOP $2.30

Grand total before Q's: $99.94
Total Q's $14.00
Total ECB's $72.64
Total OOP $14.14 (this total includes tax)
Total Savings: 86%
Even with the slip on transaction #2 and my lack of more Q's, I can't complain....

Just an FYI also, my receipts show the following items were NOT reach yet but the ad has limits on (you may be able to purchase more than the stated limit and still earn ECB's):

Item bought/Ad limit
Playtex 1/1
Clairol 1/1
Schick 1/1
Crockpot 1/1

Items that DO show limit reached
Johnsons 1/1
Colgate 2/2
CG Powder 1/1
CG Liquid 1/1
Sally Hansen 1/1
Loreal 2/2

Default midnite bf CVS

I dunno how you pull off a low TOOP--but in my case i wanted the camera so this is how it played out

1st
aussie =$1 mnf
aussie =$1 mnf
bic soliel=$3 mnf
J and J lotion
loreal lipgloss=$1
loreal lip gloss=(didn have a 2nd one)
sally nail polish
garnier towlettes-(I forgot the coup!)

used a cvs mailer 4/20 on beauty

TOOP=34.66
ECBs gained=41.42

2nd
kodak digicam
used cvs 10/50 ECB
and theaboveECB--total-51.42
TOOP- 41.80
gained 20.00 ecb

3rd
this got screwy---as the items i needed were out of stock (hairdryer) and the items i picked up tomake it to $20 wound up being old/wrong sale prices here goes

robituss=2 internet coup
gilette wash=$2 mnf
Nivea=$1 mnf
"fillers"
sensodyne (thought was 4.59ish)
3scrunci/barettes(thought 2 were buy one get one 50%)

used $20 ecb
no ecb gained(my goal)
TOOP-10.73

Above numbers are w/o tax...I hate holdingonto ECBs as i forget i have them and lose them. This was the first time i ever pulled 3 tranactions or done this on BF.

so essentially

Toop was-87.92
LESS then the sale price of the digi cam---where i would have other wise spent 90+ elsewhere....and i have stocking stuffers for friends :-)

Question Good for You!

I couldn't sleep (for several reasons) and was perusing your BF deals which brought me to a ?. I'm new @ this but planning on making a CVS trip soon. I haven't got very many q's to start with that I could use in conjunction with their deals already. So would I still make out without all of the man q's?

Default coupons

I read on another thread earlier that there are printable coupons for the playtex tampons, and that there is a link on coupon mom, but I have looked thru coupon database and all the links and can not find it. Does anyone happen to know which link I use and also where did you get the coupons for the aussie shampoo?

Poochie-I'm totally new at this....I actually posted a few hours before midnight to clear up my confusion and I went to CVS around midnight....it's the first time I've ever shopped at that store. I applied for a card right in the store. I spent a total of $17.21 in OP and left with $12 in ECB...the value of the stuff I bought was $38.96. So, very much worth it.

Question man q's

I am just wondering if I don't have any of the cosmetics q's will it still be free? Is using the q's essentially just letting you make more ECB's?

I'm probably not the best person to answer this, but as I understand it, yes they are still good deals. You get them for "free" still, because you get the price you paid back in ECB....having the Q's just makes it come out as a "profit", but buying them without Q's, you're still getting them free.

Talking On the 12th day of CVS by true love gave to me...

My first BF sale ever! I slipped out of the house when everyone's asleep, went to my 24hr CVS, which BTW is only 5 min. from my house! I started out with $22ECB's $15 + 7-DH's). I got 2 remotes, 3 Gatorades, 1 CG powder, 4 Loreal lip glosses, 4 Aussie hair products, 2 boxes Playtex, 8 Hershey's, 2 Sally's nail polish, 2 Bic shavers and a Partridge in a pear tree!

I paid $1.13 OOP and ended up with $15 ECB's left. (next time maybe I will increase my ECB's once I can start collecting all of the q's. All in all I'm happy--and everyone is still asleep!
