OK, for all of you that have yet to try CVS, this is a great deal starter!!
Tonight I took, hubby. He needed to get his own card, cause I got some good deals to get on Thursday! hee hee!! The Crest Pro Health Whitening is the place we started. This was not listed on the shelf, price said $3.89, and nothing about ECB's. This is however a NOVEMBER deal...until the 30th. I have not even bought any on my card b/c they have always been out! He bought one, $3.49 plus tax got $3.49 ECB turned right around and bought another one.....paper says, limit 2, I have read on here limit is really 4. He would literally just rip off the ECB and hand it over and get the next tube for FREE!! He did NOT even have to pay tax on the next 7 tubes... Yes he got 8 FREE tubes in all and only paid tax on the first one. His receipt said he could still get one more but that is all they had. He was so excited.. he is hooked to say the least!! I went and got the Maybelline mineral makeup with his last $3.49 ECB. I did not get the one listed in the paper but got the one that has the little brush. It did ring up for $8.99 and gave a $8.99 ECB. I got another one, so 2 of those and his receipt said that he could get one more. I am going back, maybe later tonight, or tomorrow to try it again. So we left with 8 tubes of toothpaste FREE ![]() 2 mineral makeup with brushes FREE ![]() THe best part::::: Scanned my card and got the $10 off $50!!! Yeah!! ![]()

That is so cute. My DH gets what I do, but wants no part of it. Free stuff just does not have the same hold on him like it does me.

That's great about your Hubby.
And about the toothpaste. That's all I "NEED" from CVS out of that entire Thanksgiving Flier. Now I can go tomorrow and get a few tubes of toothpaste and avoid the crowds

I have to add on....I went to pick up my son from a friends house and wouldn't ya know it, I just had to stop by CVS on the way home....Ok, I need some intervention...it is not on the way...It is a little ways away, but HEY I am addicted!!!
TOok, his last $8.99 ECB and got 5 more of those Maybelline Mineral Make-ups with the brushes. Now, that is 7 in all tonight. It would let me keep getting them, but that is all the cashier would allow. She said since the card was not reaching its limit, that all she could do was let me have 5. I know that not to be true since we just got 8 Crest's earlier. But she is the one wearing the CVS badge so I just smiled and said OK. I can go back tomorrow when my favorite cashier is there!! I am going to donate some to family and church. I am wondering. Is it just doing unlimited b/c it is a new card?? Or is it b/c that deal is not even listed???

I baptized my DH yesterday with the CVS and Wags. We went to Meijer first, they had Airwick Nutra Air and the mini's on sale for 1/2 off. I ended up paying $1.24 for the large ones and $.99 for the mini's. He had this 'little boy giggle' when he realized what we would spend for them. I figured today would be a good day to bring him to Wags and CVS. He was very helpful, didn't ask for anything, help to make sure I got the right stuff, I was impressed.
All in all, my Meijer trip cost me $61.00, but I saved $73.66 ![]() CVS should have been better: 2 Gold Emblem peanuts 8.00 2 16 pk Energizer 20.00 1 St. Ives (raincheck w/ECB) .99 1 tootsie rolls .88 Q's $1.00 - nuts $1.00 - batteries (2) $ .50 - St. Ives $3/15 CVS $15.00 ECB's paid $8.47 oop, but the peanuts were supposed to be on sale. The tag just said 'party peanuts' 2/$4.00, but I think the honey roasted peanuts were not on sale. I should have paid $4.47. (hubbie doesn't want to return them, he wants the honey roasted) Wags wasn't much to brag about, but I got tomato sauce for .19/2 cans. |
