Went today to get it, along with a lot of the free stuff, and just found out that I didn't get my $8.99 ecbs. I guess I should have checked at the store, but since I didn't, do you think I can go , return it and repurchase it?

You could try that or call the CVS customer service number. They will attache the ecb's to your card and they will print out at your next purchase.
