Holy Cover Girl Sale Batman!
I went into my local CVS this morning, just to browse. I'd been there over the weekend, not expecting much. Low and behold I came across one of the greatest clearance finds of all time. 75% off CoverGirl. The scanned price was $1.50. Well, I just happen to have several buy two get $2.50 coupons in my car. So, I ran out and picked up 6 CoverGirl items at 0.25 cents a piece. ($1.50 x 2 = $3.00 - $2.50 coupon). It was the kind of make up I even use! The orange last blast with a black eyelinder. I hit the jackpot. I also picked up two lipsticks. Oh, let's not forget hubby. I picked up a Blade mens spray for 0.99 cents ($1.99 - $1.00 coupon). Oh, and lastly, I picked up nail polish remover for 0.29 cents. In total, I spent about 3.11 with tax. GREATEST FIND EVER!!!! Going back tonight. Have more coupons and one of my friends asked me to pick up two for her. Why not? I can spare 0.50 cents!
