Question Is this true??

I was in CVS this morning, trying to take advantage of the Glade sense and spray deal with my coupons. Didn't start great when the cashier was confused by my coupons and had to call the manager. She came out and said that I wasn't allowed to use both the store coupon and man. coupon because it exceeded the price of the product. They were 2/10 and I had a store $3 Q and man $4Q. I asked if she could adjust the price of the man. Q down to $2, she said that it was policy not to do that. However that is what they did on a different item Q at walgreens. Are they really not able to adjust the $ of Q even if they are adjusting it down??

CVS adjusts my Qs down all the time, without a problem.

HMM well she didn't even try to put the coupons in, so maybe if I asked them to scan them it will automatically do the same, but I will be trying a different store, she wasn't too pleasant. Thanks for sharing!

I went in for the same deal. I had 4 Glade S&S. The cashier said she couldn't take all the Q's since the register kept beeping, so I asked her to try 4 of the CVS $3Q's and 2 of the MQ's and it worked since it did not cause an overage. I did get them free, well I paid tax. Still happy!

I went to CVS last night and my cashier scanned the two coupons - $3.00 CVS website coupon & $4.00 Glade coupon.

This is what I did:

2 Glade sense and spray 2 for $10.00 (Used 2 CVS q’s $3.00 & 2 $4.00 Glade q’s)
1 Glade Fragrance Collection Candle $6.99 (did not have the $3.00 Q for the candle )
Total $16.99 + tax

Paid $2.99 plus tax for this transaction and got $6.99 EBC!

I was affraid that it would beeped so just to be cautious I gave her the CVS store coupons first and the the mq and it seemed to work fine. She did try to tell me that she could not use the the CVS cpn but then she realized that it was a store coupon and she scanned it with no problems.
