Hmm, I went to my local CVS yesterday and they were so so so so unhappy about my coupons. The cashier (who's senior and has been there as long as I've been shopping there, over 1 year) scanned 2 coupons and then called the store supervisor to show her the others that I had. The funny thing is that they neither would talk to me, just discussed it among themselves and then scanned them through. They all scanned, they were all legitimate and for correct product etc etc etc. So my opinion is that CVS is having a crackdown on coupon use. Perhaps there is more fraud out there or perhaps they've realised that customers are coming in to purchase specific items on special and are not generating more revenue for the store by throwing 'nice to have' items in their basket - you know, like I used to do before CM

I generally never have a problem with Q's at CVS.
I did stop by a different CVS, and one of those "know everything in the world" cashiers gave me grief about the Q's I was using. On that deal, he did not know how to clear a negative balance. I should have talked to the manager, but was too busy to mess with it. |

I guess I joined the club....I had a run in with an asst manager who was at the register and would NOT take my Q b/c they exceeded the value of the item. I suggested lowering the CVS Q, he said NO. I said, I'll take my shopping back to my regular store.

I ha this problem with walgreens. Just told the girl to change the price of the item to the value of the coupons and that worked. She was adamant she couldn't change the value of the coupons. I don't see why they would have a problem changing the value of their own store coupon though.
