Best day for clearance items?

I stop in several CVS stores and rarely find any great clearance items. Is there a certain day of the week that's better than the rest to find newly stocked clearance items?

Once something is clearanced, it usually doesn't get restocked, that would depend on the warehouse and whether anything is left there. But our clearance signs usually come down on Sunday or Monday, it just depends when it is on the list to get done for the week. HTH

My CVS usually marks down seasonal clearance items on Sunday. The rest appears to be random.

I wish they had email alerts for clearance items!!!!!! What I would give to know when they are clearancing things....
