Default I had problems with Viologie and Fruitopia Q's

I went to CVS today for more shampoo and tried to use the Viologie and Fruitopia $2 Q from RIB magazine. As you know, these are B1G1 this week.

The first store's cashier told me that I couldn't use two Q on a B1G1 sale. That guy is a coupon Nazi, but only, I fear, because he is too dumb to know how to ring them into the cash register. I was frustrated, but said nothing, and left with nothing.

I know to have these rung with 1 Fruitopia and 1 Viologie to make the Q's work.

The second store I went to was difficult too. I brought four shampoos to the counter, and asked for two transactions. They came to a negative .01, and the cashier 'fixed' it well enough so the total was .14, even though it should have been free.

Then, I said, "I'd like to take these to the car, and return to repeat the transaction". His reply was "I can't do that. I wasn't supposed to ring these so you would get them for free."

Huh? It is a CVS coupon, right?

Am I missing something?

Would some filler in the transaction have helped my negative .01 balance?

When does the B1G1 sale end?

I ran this same transaction at another CVS without problems, even with the negative balance. Just kind of frustrating, you know?

Sorry you and others are running into problems like this. Maybe a quick call to corp will solve some issues. I plan on doing the BOGO deal too and not anticipating any problems. i've gone there several times and walked out not paying a dime; using q's of course!!

She's right-give Corp. a buzz and they'll help you resolve.
And don't fool with a CVs or WGS if they're repeat offenders at ck out.
Move on to another store-less frustration.

I've done each of my transactions with a little small something from the clearance section just so they dont go FREE! Oh no!

The 3.99 BOGO with the 2x $2 Q leaves the -.01 cent which will MAKE THEM PANIC!

Maybe you need a cheap filler? They have the 90% clearance going on right now.

Maybe they are one per order coupon?? well the cashier pushed it through for me with no problems so it was a good cvs day for me!! i got also 6 revlon nailpolishes for 1.00 each...i didnt have a coupon for them but on the deals by state section it said there should be one, i dont know but anyways i am putting them aside to add to my ladies giftbaskets for christmas so i was happy
