$5 Rewards Q

I walked in my store last night and the cashier handed a couple of these to me. He said they were in the TRASH!!!! They state:

here is your %5.00 extra reward buck

*coupon cannot be combined with any other CVS/pharmacy coupons

These expire 8/31/09.

Before I knew it, I said, 'Thank you, Jesus!'
His response, 'Yeah...I know you are a CVS fanatic, so I had to be sure to give you some!'

Wouldn't those be tied to the account number of the person who threw/forgot it?

NOPE...these are similar to some rewards Qs they had some time ago. They were valued at $3.00 but rang up as $5.00??? Not sure how that happened, and the cashiers didn't know, either.They were distributing at the register and in the pharmacy.

AND...they didn't find these in the trash outside where a customer may have discarded. They were discarded by an employee. He's going to wait for the Supervisor to return to find out how this may have happened.
