Default What does 8 cents buy? Sippy cups, Visine, tampons, candles!

The CSO gave me a $6/$36 the other day, and I went tonight, plan in hand, to make some use of it.

I got:

7 Visine "To Go" (travel, not trial size) @ $1.99 each
5 Glade soy candles @ $3.29 each
2-pack Playtex Twist-n-Lock sippy cups @ $7.99
1 CVS tampons @ $1.89

"Before" total: $40.26 (I new I'd be making a profit on the Visine by using the CVS eyecare Q, so I had to go higher than $36 so I wouldn't end up in the negative)

Minus...

$6/$36 CVS Q
$3/$12 eyecare purchase CVS Q
7 $2/1 Visine
5 FREE Glade candles

New total $0.81 plus exactly $1 for tax.

Paid the 81 cents using an ECB and the $1 tax in change; received a new $1.89 ECB for the tampons. Actual OOP ***8 cents***!

Are the glade candles you are getting the 2 oz ones with the free coupon or is there another coupon?

They were the 2-oz ones that had the free Qs. But also, the August All You has a Q for $3/1 Fragrance Collection item, so you can use that to get another 2-oz one free (or almost free, depending on prices in your area).

Also, note that the $2/1 Visine in All You DOES NOT work for what I did--that Q requires 1/2-oz or higher. The Visine To Go is only .28 ounces. The $2 Qs I used were newspaper Qs.

Where was the Visine To Go located? Eye care area, or travel items area? Earlier today, I opened my free package of Visine Totality Multi-Symptom Relief that I got a few weeks ago. Lo and behold, a $2 Q printed on the inside of the box, good on any Visine product. My K-Mart had two big packages of the To Go Visine, clearanced down to $4.29. So would be 29 cents after doubled Q this week. At the time I saw it, I didn't have that Q (well, I had it, I just didn't know it 'cuz I hadn't opened the package yet). Now I'm going back to pick those up. Nice to know if somebody already snatched them up from K-Mart, that I can go to CVS to get them. Yay!

Thanks for sharing your great deals!

The Visine To Go was on a peg at the registers--one of the same displays as the chapstick and eyeglass repair kits; that type of thing. They are small bottles in a blister pack on a blue cardboard backing. Good luck!
