I went and asked for one and the tech told me it was for customer who have their Rx's filled at CVS....well explained i haven't filled a RX in more than a yr ...thank u LORD b/c nobody has gotten sick.....she still tellls me no...then when I pointed to the ad about just asking....she then said she had to have my name so I told her.......she says you are not in the system or haven't filled a Rx in along while....DUH didn't I just tell(told) her that???? Then she just give me one saying that's not really what the booklets are to be given out for.ARRRGH....then on top of that the earphone were not tagged so they wouldn't give me a raincheck b/c they didn't carry it.(I asked was the 6.99 reg or a sale price. He said reg. so when looking nothing was listed less then 9.99 so he told me to go to a bigger store nearby. So I went to another CVS and low and behold they're sold out too but it was tagged and the reg price was 10.99 and the other store had them, So I was about to get a raincheck there but geesh what a time! Sorry just venting..... |

My pharmacy told me no unless I signed up for the program. I showed her the ad, she was not happy. I talked with her alittle about the program and explained that insulin wouldn't be a good fit and she FINALLY gave me the book.

It clearly says on the display board on the Rx counter that you get the coupon book JUST FOR ASKING ABOUT THE READI-FILL PROGRAM!! This just ticks me off. The techs in the pharmacy act like you're trying to pull a fast one by asking for the coupon book. I got the same attitude and a friend, that goes to another CVS, said she experienced the same thing. Very frustrating.

ATTENTION ALL RECEIVING BAD TREATMENT OVER THESE COUPON BOOKS!!!!
I just called 1.800.746.7287, and CVS customer care advocates want to hear from you about this issue!! The guy I talked to (his name was Guy), was very nice and very apologetic about my experience, took down the store and the time, and will be contacting the District Supervisor, and mailing me out some more coupons of which I probably won't use. here is my c/p story from another thread of the Ready Fill Coupon Book: Wait paitently with GM, lil DS, and DD for our turn @ drop off, had ad in hand and asked about the readyfill program, he asked my name, I gave it too him, he poked it in the computer. He said have you ever filled here before, I told him no, I was just inquiring because I wanted the coupon book, and pointed at the ad with the page opened up to it. He told me that the coupon book was for pharmacy customers only. I told him that my family has perscriptions filled. He said well if you transfer them then I can give you a book. I told him as calmly as I could, looking at his "Shift Manager" tag, took my big girl couponmom breath and stood my ground saying "Sir, I live an hour away, I am not going to transfer my families scripts, the ad says "inquire", I inquired, the plan does not fit my families needs, please give my coupon book, and you can take care of all these people behind me." He says ma'm unless you sign up for the Readyfill I cannot give you a book. I tell him to call his manager, I would like to talk to him. He calls over the speaker and says for someone to call his extension. He says into the phone "Those coupon books are for customers only right?", listens for just a second and hangs up. He then tells me ma'm he says he is familiar with the wrong wording and confirmed that the books are for customers only. I tell him "Sir, you aren't listening, I told you I wanted to talk to the manager, and at this point I am not only NOT A CUSTOMER, but with this kind of treatment, I AM NOT EVEN A POTIENTIAL CUSTOMER! Please, call your manager back and tell him I want to talk to him, I inquired as this paper tells me to do, so you are not holding up what this advertisement says you will do. I did my part, now will you please do yours and give me the couponbook it states you will give me so you can take care of these customers! He walked off in a huff, talked to another lady asking her where these books were, she told him, he went and got it and gave it to me. I told him thank you, and something to the effect of he should be more gracious to the consumer as that is why he has a job. (I was so PO'd by now I couldn't see straight).

Let them know what is going on behind the pharmacy counter, all these CVS's are basically doing the same thing, so apparantly someone told them wrong, or didn't tell them anything may be the case, but let corp know so they can fix it, and you may get more freeQ's!

If that was me and they were telling me no and blah blah, I would be throwing a fit in the store. I do not get shy. If I am right I am right. I will tell them off.
