I buy the kits often to donate to my church's homeless outreach. I used Qs that DID exclude trial sizes, but I didn't think twice about it--I don't think those kits are considered "trial size." A trial size would be a sample size of one product--this is an actual kit filled with several items. It isn't labeled as trial size (either on the package or on the store's shelf label); it's labeled as a "mini" first aid kit. And I think it says something like "on the go." Anyway, I've bought probably 100 of them over the last several months, often with Qs that excluded "trials." And not one has ever beeped or been questioned at any store (I've bought them at Target, Shoppers, and CVS). So I genuinely think it's fine--I wouldn't use them if I had any reason to believe I shouldn't.

Thanks for the info, I will check it out, I too wanted to donate them.

I had one CVS store tell me they were trial size b/c they sell them in the trial size section. Which isn't true. They sell them in the TRAVEL size section, but I wasn't going to win that argument, so I think I reworked me deal and took my coupons elsewhere. This was months ago. That's the same store that says you can't use Qs on clearance. I just take my business elsewhere.

Hi,

I have gone to 2 CVS stores and can't find these things (very frustrating, I have 10 Q's!) . ANyway, reading your post I guess I was looking at the wrong place...where was the travel size section at your store?

Also, does anybody have a picture of these??

There is a travel/trial section that is clear bins againest a wall, and the travel kits in my store are on a hang tag above the bins. There is a photo in the circular, they are white boxes, small, square front, with a red label around them.

The picture is the exact one in the ad. Last night, my CVS didn't have any. But, the guy gave me a raincheck. He checked a few different places.

In my store, they are on the aisle with the shavers and electronic things. On the left is the CVS travel items. On the right is the brand name travel items.

HTH!

Don't know about you but when my cashiers tell me it's just fine to do the new weeks deals on Sat., I take them up on it.
One shift mgr. yesterday near my work told me 2 stores nearby load the new deals as early as 11am on Sat!
They also consistently give their customers excellent customer service as well.

I FINALLY found 2 of these today. I got these, used 2 Q's, and got a the small box of tampons and the .01 trial size toothpaste all for about $2 and got back $1.89 and $2 ECBs, which I plan to use toward some of the Garnier Nutrisse Haircolor (I'm totally brand loyal to this one), and get back $5 ECBs.

One of the CVS stores in Los Angeles has a sign on the door every Saturday afternoon/evening that the prices and ECB's for the Sunday ads are available. I think it may be up to each store to decide. The lady at that store said that since people get their CVS ads on Friday afternoon and lots of people do their shopping on Saturdays, it cuts down on complaints.
