That's right! I went to CVS and was able to get my Cokes using the Rite Aid Qs. I asked up front before I got my hopes up high. LOL!

No go for the competitor's Qs @ my CVS, but I still got in on these w/some $1 Qs I snagged from my local Jewel awhile back. I also found a BOGO IP that I somehow overlooked in my binder. So glad they take expired coupons there.

Ended up with:

(4) 12pk Coke (1) BOGO IP & (3) $1/1 MQs
(4) 32oz. Powerade - (4) FREE WYB Coke peelies
(4) 20oz. Nestea - (4) FREE WYB Coke MQs
(4) 20oz. Minute Maid - (4) BOGO Nestea/Minute Maid MQs

Total $32.08

used one $5/$25 & $1.99 ECB - Total OOP $.32 - Got back $3 ECB.

I found them sometime ago so not sure you'll see them anywhere, however, the BOGO Nestea/Minute Qs I found on the cooler @ CVS.

I had my 2nd CVS trip all planned yesterday and when I got there, they had the Pepsi in the 8-packs and were offering "buy 4 get one free".....so I did. I needed them to hit the $20 mark and wanted to use the 4/20 Q from the pharmacy book. Anyway, after checking out, I discovered there were no ECBs on Pepsi at our CVS here :-( At least I got to use my 4/20 and everything else I got (including the Sobe waters and rainchecks on Softsoap using $1 off Qs) was all free. Ours doesn't take the competitor's Qs either. I don't know if anyone else has done this, but our CVS offered $1 ECB on a gallon of milk, and I got 2 gallons before it showed "limit reached."

weird. i was just about to start a thread venting about how advertisers get us by making us think we're getting somethng free or that we're getting a good deal... particularly in reference to the "free" pepsi. so, i'll just put it here.

the best deal on pepsi and coke 2-liters is $.99 anyway (and sometimes, but rarely $.79) sooooo 3/$4 then get one "free" is the same at $.99... so, it really isn't... "free."

had to put my frustrations down. hopefully most of us are trained to see this while putting together our deals.
